One of the primary roles of JIRBNZ is to provide support for registered apprentices throughout their training period.
If you are considering a career in the Jewellery industry please consider undertaking 7471 Stage 1 JIRBNZ Certificate of Achievement in Jewellery Manufacturing Theory - Level 2 . The JIRBNZ administers all of the 3 Stages (7471 Stage 1, 7472 Stage 2, 7473 Stage 3) of the Level 3 Qualification JIRBNZ OP3238. This forms part of the NZQA Qualifications :

New Zealand Certificate in Watch and Clock Making (Level 4) [Ref: 2633]

- If you wish to be considered to be enrolled into 7471 Stage 1 JIRBNZ Certificate of Achievement in Jewellery Manufacturing Theory - Level 2
- If you are an employer who wishes to register an apprenticeship agreement
- If you have completed your apprenticeship in Manufacturing Jewellery or Watch and Clockmaking and are in a position to request to be issued with Trade Certificate.
- If you are working in the industry and have any queries. Please note priority will be given to enquiries from current apprenticeships
Note: If you are looking for employment in the jewellery industry, either in retail or manufacturing, it is recommended that you enrol into 7471 Stage 1 JIRBNZ Certificate of Achievement in Jewellery Manufacturing Theory - Level 2 . Apprentices must complete all three stages. These courses are also open to all public enrolments. Many employers looking to take on an a retail shop employee or apprentice ask who is doing a JIRBNZ course or has successfully completed the qualification.
