AGM News

Elections were held with the following positions on the executive being appointed to

Bob Dawson -Jewellers & Watchmakers of New Zealand inc

John Franich - Jewellers Manufactures Federation

Gary Barwick - Watchmakers' Institute of New Zealand

Brian Webber - New Zealand Horological Institute

Malcolm Alderton- Independent representative

Bruce Weeds (BJWltd) - Treasurer

Craig Anderson - Secretary

Grant Harrison - Chairman

After much discussion a motion of note was passed, that being -To give consideration to allow the extension in number of the executive as to include further representational Groups or Body Corporate. Accordingly the new executive met to discuss the passed motion. It was agreed by all that it was advantageous to allow for this development of the Board.

Interested parties who wish to fill these the new positions will be called for, with a view to be able to create a further more true and transparent balance for the executive of the Registration Board and the industry as a whole it represents.
